Usare Sparkle con Applescript Studio - Difficoltà: Media (3 su 5)
Sparkle è un framework che permette di automatizzare il meccanismo di controllo delle nuove versioni di un software, aggiungendo pochissime proprietà e nessuna riga di codice. Nato per XCode, è però utilizzabile anche con Applescript Studio. Il tutorial parte proprio dall'inizio, dopo aver terminato un progetto Applescript Studio: con spiegazioni precise e fotografie dello schermo relative ad ogni passaggio, verrete condotti all'integrazione di Sparkle nel progetto. Naturalmente, avrete bisogno di un sito su cui mettere gli aggiornamenti ed i relativi file di controllo.

Apache, PHP, MySQL e Leopard - Difficoltà: Abbastanza Difficile (4 su 5)
Se vogliamo preparare un sito web proprio come vogliamo noi, è bene poter avere a disposizione un web server completo di un linguaggio di scripting ed un database: gli utenti Mac si trovano ad avere già installati Apache ed il modulo PHP; basta attivare quest'ultimo e installare MySQL. Purtroppo non è proprio semplice semplice: questo tutorial vi verrà in aiuto con una procedura passo-passo che vi porterà ad avere sul vostro Mac tutti gli strumenti per sviluppare un vostro sito. Nella Appendici troverete alcune note sul Terminale e sulle interfacce grafiche per interagire con il database.
