With Mac OS X Tiger, Apple introduced an amazing platform for small applications that run in background and show some information: Dashboard! Thanks to the reliability of this platform, you can leave InerziaLightning open, so you won't miss a thunder!
It's precise!
You'll get an incredible precision using InerziaLightning, because it just count each data you insert! When you click on the "Lightning" button, the software will calculate the augment of kilometers (or whatever measure unit you want), without forgetting the air temperature!
It's for your safety
InerziaLightning can show the distance in 6 different measure units and if the distance is too short, the distance field will become red to advise you of the danger!

Precision is the keyword
InerziaLightning has a good precision, depending on the reactivity of the user; anyway, to make the distance more precise, InerziaLightning will count even the air temperature!
See the movement of the thunderstorm
InerziaLightning will show the measure in red if the thunder is too near you, but it also records the last measures calculate if it is approaching or leaving: the movement is clearly shown with a colored light on the widget.
Convert in one click
The default measure units is the kilometers, but InerziaLightning supports 6 different units for distances (meters and kilometers, yards, miles, marine miles, feet) and 3 for temperature (celsius, fahrenheit and kelvin).

Can I change the measure unit?
Yes, of course! Just flip the widget, by clicking the small "i", and choose the measure unit you want.
Why does InerziaLightning need the air temperature?
To give a more precise measure of the distance, it's fundamental to know the air temperature. Anyway, it's not necessary to insert a precise value.
How can I reset the memory?
Just click "Clear" and InerziaLightning will forget everything!
I want to update my copy of InerziaLightning!
There are two ways to update your copy: check out the RSS of this page, or download the latest version from the Download section.
I didn't found the answer I was looking for: what can I do?

Oh sorry! To uninstall InerziaLightning, open the widget bar (by clicking on the '+' button at bottom left of the screen), then click on 'Manage Widgets...'; scroll to InerziaLightning and click the red button near the item!
