InerziaDevHelper
If you are novice as a programmer or a professional, it surely happened at least one time
to see that the way you chose to solve a problem was not the right one and that you had to start
from a well-behaving code. This imply... that you should have done a backup! But if you did, probably you
found that this backup is too old and that you will have to write again a code that you know already
works; writing it again will probably insert other bugs... The automatic solutions to track the code
are always expensive and give you much more than what you need.
InerziaDevHelper has the goal to keep track of your ongoing projects, by keeping a complete backup
for each of them and this version is also capable of restoring a project choosing the right version
among all others. In addition, it can made a complete track of the various bugs found by yourself
but also by the users. These users can also be inserted in InerziaDevHelper, together with the
possible serial number that you assigned them. Last but not least... it's free!
The main functions are:
- keep the list of the ongoing projects and their folder;
- keep the version list for each project, wether released or not and a complete copy of all the source code and of the necessary resources for the build;
- immediate restore of one version without deleting the others;
- keep track of all bugs for each version of each project; the classification follows the suggestions of the best quality assurance systems. By using the sorting by status it's easy to know which of them are open and which is the more urgent;
- keep a list of the users, together with his/her activation number in case of a commercial or shareware software;
- new in version 2, a ToDo window.
Note: in the case you keep a list of users, please remember that in many countries this list of anagraphical data (name, email, phone, etc...) falls under privacy rules. If in doubt, we suggest to see your lawyer.
Version 2 requires MacOS X.5 (Leopard); if you use Tiger, you can download version 1.7.1, with less functionalities.
