InerziaSysEx
This widget was made for those who play music with the MIDI format and that need to send
System Exclusive messages to synths and keyboards; if you don't want to loose time
to calculate the checksum byte necessary for some electronic instruments, then you need
this widget.
You insert the data necessary to build the message and the widget calculates the checksum
while completing the missing parts. It gives the result in hex format, ready to be copied
and pasted in your MIDI application.
In the back preferences you can set to have also the starting/ending bytes F0..F7 of a standard
System Exclusive.
At the moment, the widget treats the Roland SysEx. You some of you needs to cover other brands
or other kinds of message, please leave us a note in the Contact section. On the back you can find
also a quick help.
The numbers you supply are always intended as hexadecimal format, better if written
grouped in two bytes, as reported in the following picture.
